Delete your data
ScoreMate has no sign-up, no username and no password. Your device is identified only by an anonymous ID created the first time the App runs. That means there is no account to close — but there is data linked to that anonymous ID, and you can have all of it deleted.
1. Delete it yourself, from the App
- A room you host: open the room → Info tab → Delete room if nothing has been scored yet, which removes it for everyone, or Close room, which stops the PIN working and moves the room to History.
- A room you joined: open the room → Info tab → Leave room. Your device is removed from that room's participant list.
- Everything held on the device — local rooms, history, saved groups, bill drafts and receipt photos — is erased when you uninstall ScoreMate.
2. Ask us to delete everything on our servers
Pick whichever is easier:
- From the App (fastest, and no personal details needed). Open Settings → Report a Problem, choose the category Other, and send a message beginning with the word DELETE. The report carries your device's anonymous ID, which is exactly what we need to find your data — you do not have to tell us who you are.
- By email. Write to luongminh2410dev@gmail.com with the subject Delete my data. Because we hold no account details, include something we can match on: the PIN of a room you created, the device name shown in the room's participant list, or the date and rough time you last used the App.
3. What gets deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Rooms you host, and everything scored in them | Deleted for every participant |
| Your membership of rooms other people host | Deleted. Scores you entered may remain in that host's room, because they belong to the room, not to you. |
| Your anonymous user ID | Deleted |
| AI receipt-scan counters tied to your device ID | Deleted |
| Problem reports you sent us | Deleted (they are also removed automatically after 30 days) |
| Receipt photos | Nothing to delete — photos you attach to a bill never leave your device, and photos sent for an AI scan are not retained once the scan returns |
| Crash reports and usage events | Deleted from our reporting tools, subject to the retention period Google applies to them (up to 90 days for crash data) |
4. How long it takes
We confirm within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of your request. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you use the App again afterwards, a new anonymous ID is created and you start from an empty slate.
